No longer the shy little girl

Kai-Li is finally coming out of her shell...not completely, but quite a big change from a few months ago.
She will actually play and laugh with people she feels comfortable around, unlike before when she wouldn't even look at anyone who didn't live with her!
Now she will either growl or scream at someone to get their attention, and try to play a "chase me" game or have them pick her up and swing her around.
Quite the opposite is Bailey who is turning from a" smile at anyone baby" to a somber looking little fellow. he will still reach his arms out to people he doesn't know well, but his smiles are few and far between when it comes to strangers.
Jaden has been good all week at school and I am so proud. His new teacher is quite strict and she even kind of scares me a little!
Today I thought I had set my alarm clock, yes I still need it to get up....and when I finally turned over to look at the clock it was 8:33 am! Oops! school starts at 7:55! lol So I hauled the kids up and out of bed and got them to school an hour late...uh oh! I do that about three to four times a year, so I'm getting off to a good start I guess...sheesh!

Well Rhi - you deserve an award for being a good mom! You have 4 children to look after and getting up late a few times in the morning is NOTHING!! You are awesome!! If I were getting up in the night feeding or attending a child, I would definitely need an alarm like you to get up!! =) Even now, Ethan still calls for me and I have a hard time getting up in the morning. My wake up call is usually my neighbors garage opening up at 7:30am and I usually have to be up by 7am....

Rhi, if your kids start school at 7:55am, what time do they get out? Joshua starts at 8:48 (yes, that's an odd time or what) and ends at 3pm. Friday's they get out at 2pm. I'm so glad the boys start school later .... man, I don't know how you do it!!! What time is your alarm set at??

Kai-Li shy?? Really?? It's hard to tell in all those videos of her.. she's always so full of spunk =)

I had high school students who needed their parents to drive them to school, and these parents (with only 1 or 2 kids) NEVER EVER not one day got their kid to school on time. 3-4 times a year, that's phenomenal. Considering GJ's restaurant schedule doesn't enable him to do much in the way of helping you get the kids to bed and up for school, you are doing great!

Elementary school here where we're at starts at 7:45 and ends at 2:45.

NJ is the same way as Bailey. He will gladly let strangers hold him but not much smiling going on. He does his staredown instead.
